SUMMIT CHAUFFEURS

Tomasz (or Thomas?) From private chauffeur to executive chauffeur

This is the story of how Tomasz went from a self-made private chauffeur to one of The Summit’s executive chauffeurs and a favourite of many of our clients…

Tomasz loves it when you spell his name correctly, but he does understand that it’s a bit tricky and after all, it sounds exactly the same whether it’s in English or Polish!

Meet Tomasz – helping drive The Summit, and our clients, to the top.

‘I came to the UK in 2000 shortly after qualifying as a gas engineer at school in Poland. I arrived in London and immediately found work in the city and surrounding areas in my trade.

Very soon, I was lucky enough to get involved in some successful property investment opportunities, helping to refurbish and convert some lovely buildings. My clients would invest while I project managed and planned the developments to turn them into something truly special. I was very proud of the projects we completed together and found our pursuit of a great return on our investments always paid off.

And then a dreadful thing happened…

Brexit

Suddenly everything became more complicated; foreign investors started looking for projects in countries other than the UK, and my beautiful career began to dwindle.

I needed a back-up plan and decided to enter the very smart world of the private chauffeur, and everything started to look bright again.

And whilst the construction industry began to slowly recover from Brexit, the global economy came to a halt again by way of yet another, even more dreadful thing – Covid.

Joining The Summit as an executive chauffeur

Once again, I had to seek new opportunities as driving a costly car like my lovely Mercedes S Class was proving difficult to manage. But I was determined to continue striving if only for my son, who turned 20 in February this year (2026). He’s doing a consultancy and finance apprenticeship in London and joins me on the golf course occasionally too – we have a great day doing what I love with who I love!

That’s when I met with Rehan and suddenly I went from striving to driving, and I haven’t stopped since.

These days though my current drive of choice is the mighty BMW i7, but if we ever earn enough money that I can retire young, I wouldn’t get my own car, I would be driven by Rehan.

(But don’t tell him I said that).

My simple question to you

Where would you like to go in my beautiful i7?

Please email hello@thesummitchauffeurs.co.uk and let me know, I’d be happy to meet you.’
