My name is Komol Ergashev, and I am from Uzbekistan but have lived and worked in London for the last 18 years. I love London and the experience has always been brilliant and, as a family, we are settled here and fully immersed in the London experience. My wife and I have two boys aged 12 and 5 and a daughter of 7.
We love pets too and we have grown up with animals around us all the time, and currently have a Husky named Chelsea and a cat named Storm – when she is around, it always looks like a Storm has swept through! But we adore them.
We are all very active, enjoying swimming as a family, and I regularly do yoga or spend time in the gym keeping myself as fit and healthy as possible. We love the movies too, so much, and we all have a variety of likes – I like the thrillers but of course, it is not always possible to watch them with the children so Finding Nemo is as ‘thriller-like’ as we watch together!
I have an MBA in International Business and Finance from University of Wales and began my professional career working as a business development manager for an elite private college while also being part owner of a very successful Turkish restaurant and catering firm in Essex. As you can imagine the drain on my personal life was very great, so I eventually sold my share.
A love of upmarket vehicles
From 2015 to 2020 I worked with a premium insurance claims company dealing with high-end vehicle damage/repair and of course supplying a courtesy car, but how do you provide a courtesy car for a custom Ferrari or McLaren?
I enjoy what I do now as well… a lot my experience in customer service, hospitality and working with very high standards means I am excellently placed to be a chauffeur for The Summit.
I have met some interesting people, many famous people but it is always a pleasure to be there for them in a calm, secure and discreet capacity – what happens in the car, stays in the car! I have learned from Rehan to be the Invisible Chauffeur…
I started working with The Summit as an executive driver early in 2020 driving a beautiful Mercedes E Class. However, almost immediately we suffered the impact of covid so it was a difficult time.
Supportive team
Rehan and the team at The Summit, and my friends all supported one another as best we could under the circumstances, and we came out stronger.
I have now established myself as one of the chauffeurs at The Summit representing them at events and airports, although, now drive a lovely black 2024 model Mercedes V Class which is my pride and joy. Seeing it shining when I approach with guests and when the electric door slides open still amazes me to this day.
