And back there you’ll see The Summit… You’ll see the shiny black cars, the impeccably dressed chauffeur at the wheel and the complimentary refreshments, but what you won’t see is the months of preparation that go into organising an event like that. And that’s where we come in…

It’s about schedules – not glamour

Admittedly, The Summit has a very small hand indeed in the production of the BAFTAs and The Brit Awards, but we were there, as part of the logistics of the event before the suits were tailored and the dresses sewn. You see, venues need to be sourced for meetings, meetings need to be populated with management, and management need to arrive at those venues for those meetings on time, feeling prepared and ready to make decisions.

Here, the glamour isn’t even thought about, it’s timings we care about (OK, we do care a bit about glamour!), we just make sure the right people are in the right place and the right equipment is delivered on time.

If these meetings are the engine room of the awards, then The Summit is the oil that keeps them running smoothly.

We know you love a Summit story, so here’s a short one to illustrate our complete discretion and trustworthiness.

When two people have a tiff in the back of the car, the only thing our chauffeur will do is monitor safety. There is no judgement, no ‘listening in’ and certainly no repeating of what may have been heard. On this occasion, the couple were very safe, and when we arrived at the evening’s venue, they were even quite relaxed, poised and ready for the celebrity spotters and cameras.

And later, after the exhilaration of the event had ebbed, we drove them home, gladly without incident.
