SUMMIT CHAUFFEURS

The story of the invisible chauffeur

The day was unexpectedly hot for England. They had already spent seven hours travelling for a conference neither of them really wanted to be at, anticipating the many hands to be shaken and hors d’oeuvres to be appreciated over polite introductions.

There had been a three-hour delay getting the baggage from the aeroplane, and they’d been waiting at the airport in their suits for what felt like a lifetime. They had to arrive at the conference, crisp and fresh, ready to talk business and sales figures, ready to prove their case to the new clients, but they felt as though they had been through a tumble dryer.

The last thing they wanted was to lug their baggage through the airport and board a sticky transfer bus to the train station.

Thankfully the amazing EA back in the office at home had organised an executive chauffeur to meet them at the airport…

Oh no! Someone else to make polite small talk with when all they wanted to do was open their laptops and try to prepare for the fraught weekend ahead.

That was when they met their chauffeur, from The Summit.

They were met with the utmost respect and kindness. A baggage trolley was already at hand and he went about loading it for them, steering it expertly through the crowds to where his sleek Mercedes was waiting.

He offered fresh cold mineral water; the EA had also requested some fresh fruit and protein bars to be in the car knowing they would be tired and hungry. Perfection! Water had never tasted so good as they seated themselves in the back of the car whilst the chauffeur loaded their bags.

What luck! There was free Wi-Fi on board, and charging points for their laptops and phones, there was even a small lap-desk and a printer in the car so they could re-familiarise themselves with the day’s agenda and the key players in comfort.

Speaking of comfort – the seats were covered in butter-soft leather, the windows were tinted, and the temperature was perfect after their humid journey.

And, as a matter of point since the invisible chauffeur knew they had been delayed (he had been waiting on the spot whilst the baggage claim delay was rectified), he allowed them the necessary quiet time to do what they needed. No tedious small talk, just respectful acknowledgement of his guests and their journey so far.

They arrived refreshed and enlivened at the conference venue, excited to share the benefits of their technology, and they got straight to business while the invisible chauffeur dealt with their bags. Summit Executive Chauffeurs, the invisible chauffeurs that stand out in a crowd.
